By Mat Bettinson of the Plot Hatching Factory (C) Jan 1995
Orignal DLG door Spew made by Wim Rumping
** What is Spew? **
Spew is a program that generates random text from rule-files. Study the Spew
doc here for more information.
** What is SpewTag? **
Spewtag activates Spew and reformats the output text into a usable tag-line
and appends it to the text file if no tag-line exists...
** Why use SpewTag? **
Simply put, if you make your own spewlib you be rewarded by a constant
stream of incredible original tag-lines every time you activate SpewTag.
Spew has made me laugh more than anything else I've ever used.
I use it in Spot and I've written BBS doors using Spew too (release
shortly).
You are FAR better off, IMHO, making a spewlib for yourself than muck about
making your own tag-lines that someone will just rip off anyway... :-(
Trust me. Try Spew! :-)
** How do I use SpewTag? **
Usage: rx SpewTag2 <file to edit> <spew lib file>
Example: rx SpewTag2 ram:Letter.txt HEADLINE
Instructions for adding into Spot: (Will work with anything else too)
You can add it globally in the general page but no point to that...
Better that you select different spewlibs for each area. To do that in the
areas menu there's an editor box on the bottom right...
Change this to something like this:
rx SpewTag2 %s HEADLINE
IF your lib files are in the spewlib drawn in the Spew path. Read Spew docs
to read up on that if you aren't sure.

New changes for 2.5:
Instead of specifying just a single Spewlib, ypou can do one of three
things.
1. Specify a single Spewlib.
2. Spefify the command 'RANDOM' in which case a Spewlib will be picked from
those listed in the header of the Arexx script 'Spewlib2.rexx'
Edit the file for more details.
3. Specifty more than 1 Spewlib. Spewtag will pick one at random from the
list ypou give it. This allows you to group the relevant/acceptable ones
for that area and give great variety.
Example: rx Spewlib %s HEADLINE PSYCHIC BBS
Also I included a Deep Space and BBS spewlib of mine. Just change the names
and BBS names etc and they'll be well funny for you too.

The Script will have to be editted to slot the editor command you use in.
Also the width of the Spew live text formatting the script does and erm....
yeah the path to Spew. You will HAVE to edit the script so have a look at it
now! :-)
OK that's it...
E-Mail ware as usual. If you like it then please message me saying so and
maybe sending me your scripts and/or Arexx code...
To Do:
Perhaps add a config file and odds of each spewlib occuring. :-)
Add a normal random tag-line picker as well...
